FootballTransfers.com is a fast-growing, international football platform focused entirely on everything related to transfers. From record-breaking Premier League deals to hidden gems in the Eredivisie – we deliver news, rumors and in-depth analysis with speed, insight and a love for statistics. Our mission? To make the transfer market transparent and accessible for every football fan.
Your Role
As an editor (24 to 32 hours per week), you’ll be responsible for writing news stories, analyses and updates about football transfers. You’ll work closely with our editorial team to ensure the website stays relevant and up to date – even outside office hours, when transfer news usually breaks.
What will you do?
- Write and publish news articles about national and international football transfers.
- Track the latest transfer rumors and respond quickly to breaking news.
- Contribute to in-depth analyses on transfer trends and player performances.
- Help update existing content to ensure the site remains current.
- Pitch new ideas and content angles that will engage our readers.
Who are we looking for?
- Someone with proven writing experience, preferably in sports journalism.
- Strong knowledge of both domestic and international football, with a passion for transfers.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and during transfer windows.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Experience with CMS and basic knowledge of SEO (a plus).
- Comfortable working with social media and understands how to leverage it effectively.
- Independent, deadline-driven and detail-oriented.

With a young and ambitious team, we create engaging content that reaches millions of fans worldwide. Right now, we’re looking for a creative Social Content Creator to join us on weekends.
Your role
As our Social Content Creator (weekend), you'll be responsible for creating and editing content for the social channels of FootballTransfers NL, FCUpdate, and Mee Met Oranje. Think eye-catching TikTok videos, Reels that fans can’t ignore, and visuals that pop. You’ll know exactly what the modern football fan wants to see—and you’ll know how to deliver it.
What you'll do
- Create and publish engaging short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Design visuals using Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
- Manage and activate our social communities across Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
- Stay up to date with trends and bring new, creative concepts to life.
- Write catchy captions and titles to boost reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and analysts to take content to the next level.
- Use social analytics tools to continuously optimize and improve performance.
Who we're looking for
- A creative storyteller with a passion for football and social media.
- Someone who understands what works on TikTok, Reels, and Instagram.
- Proficiency in Adobe tools is a must.
- You’re proactive, full of ideas, and not afraid to take initiative.
- You write fluently in Dutch and have a good command of English.
- You’re available on Saturdays and Sundays (6 hours per day).
